Poltergeists – Supernatural Manifestations, Human Agents, or Both?

I couldn’t resist dropping in that image – Classic film, anyone that knows me personally recognizes my love for horror movies!

So, onto the subject in hand, I found myself reading an interesting article today on poltergeists, the full article can be found here:

It details widely accepted thoughts on poltergeist activity, (A poltergeist being a ghost of sorts which makes noise, moves things, etc) that it was always thought to be caused by supernatural presence, before a trend of psychokinetic activity took over, the poltergeist activity began to be attributed to troubled teens, ex-disney stars and whatnot.

It’s interesting that it doesn’t even mention the thought of fraudulent claims… In my experiences and in the experiences of paranormal investigator friends, 99/100 of any claim in any way relating to poltergeist activity isn’t anything supernatural, it’s more likely to be a sneaky breeze knocking the plates from the wall than an angst fueled teen brain emitting bizarre frequencies… I’ll finish on an old-style chinese proverb:
